So they say PMS is a “syndrome” I call it measly a couple of wee days of “I know I am a 100% right day and no one can change my mind, no matter what they say day.” Can that be shorted??
Often men tend to do everything wrong during this time. Don’t get me wrong women can tick you off too, my goodness the MEN they are born with the ability to just send you flying off the handle! Are they born with a “special gene” that gives them this special ability? Let me give you an example of what I mean about flying off the handle. One lovely day my husband and I went grocery shopping, he never goes with me. I have my list I know where things are and what we need. One thing that was on my list was peanut butter for the dog. (We put the peanut butter in the kong to keep her busy. ) I saw my lovely hubby place the peanut jar in the cart and I thought nothing of it, at the time. When I got home and up packing the bags I see the jar of peanut butter. Now mind you my hubby is outside walking the dog in the back yard. Well I lost it, it was “CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER” it was like something took over my body. I proceeded to yell really loud, waving the peanut butter at my hubby out the window “REALLY?? REALLY?? CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER!?!?! WHAT THE HECK IS THE DOG GOING TO DO WITH CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER?!?!?!?” Steam flying from my ears just over a minor mistake he didn’t know. Poor guy was just shaking his head at me. Why was I freaking out over peanut butter?
Well after watching the Rachael Ray show it has all been cleared up for me. I guess our hormones change really by the second we don’t know when it going to happen or why it just happens and everyone around you knows it except YOU. You go through this “psychotic mood shift” then you are like “oh, I love you sweet it was just you know.” Then he is afraid to talk or even look at you after that for the fear of getting yelled at all over again.
Now after researching PMS I now see that some wonderful man or woman, has taken it upon themself to create a reminder for the men that there women are getting close to “that time of the month.” It is called PMSBuddy.com there is even a iPhone application for this as well. WOW are we really that bad that we have to have a e-mail alert? I certainly do think so but if you need a e-mail reminder to let you know when we will have a Psychotic Mood Shift more power to you!
